The sponsors for the High Sierra RC&D Area are the five county governments (El Dorado, Placer, Nevada, Sierra and Yuba Counties), the six Resource Conservation Districts (RCD) within these five counties (El Dorado County RCD, Georgetown Divide RCD, Placer County RCD, Nevada County RCD, Sierra Valley RCD, and Yuba County RCD), Nevada County Land Trust and the Sierra Economic Development Corporation.
